Wow, what a crazy year in 2019! I can’t believe the last time I made a blog post was the last charity sale in 2018. So much happened this year. As you can see, I adopted a dog! Luna was very confused about why I had to put a rectangular leaf next to her.
We raised an amazing $13,250 during the 2019 charity sale! It’s a little bit less than last year, but only because I’ve been too busy moving so a lot of things in the shop ran out of stock, I’m sure everyone was just as eager to help this year. And due to the craziness of moving, I kept the donations simple this year. I made larger donations to 3 environmental charities instead a variety of smaller donations.
The charities are Team Trees, Rainforest Trust, and Wildlife Conservation Network. These awesome charities were chosen for their amazing work on helping restore our forest, combating climate change, and protecting bio diversity. I’ve attached the receipts each donation below.
Special thanks to my wonderful shipping assistant Katie, who stayed past midnight for many nights shipping out orders, and my friend, JeezImSoBored, who sponsored ads for the charity sale. Thank you all again for the amazing help and I can’t wait until next year’s sale!
